Cristina began her work in the maintenance at ​​AES Colombia as an intern. At that time, she was the first and only woman who worked in that area at the Chivor power plant.

After having demonstrated her talent and good results, Cristina joined the AES Colombia team in 2014. She continues to work as a maintenance an operations technician and is setting an example for all women that would like build a career in the energy industry.
